Live AR scan

Most accurate. Measures the walls, door and windows to the inch with your phone’s camera.

Works in Chrome on Android. When it’s done, tap Send to planner there and the measured room comes straight back here. Then record a video below so Claude can fill in everything inside the measured room.

Scan the room

Full scan. Builds the 3D room and inventory from scratch, then writes tasks. Improve the model. Add more video or photos (say, of the door or a corner it got wrong). Claude compares them with the original scan and fixes the size, doors, windows and items. Progress update. Compares new footage with the model, checks off finished tasks, and updates what’s in the room.

How much detail from a video

About one sharp frame per second of video. More frames catch more things but take longer and use more of your Claude usage.

Tips for a good scan

Turn on all the lights and open the blinds.
Move at half your normal speed; fast pans come out blurry.
Include the doorway, every wall, and the inside of the closet.
For progress updates, film from the same spots.

Room size

A tape-measured size makes the model exact. Measure wall to wall at floor level.
